Portfolio (Where It's All At)
Portfolio + Client Work
Here you'll find a small sampling of the work I've created over the years for brands and online communities. These are a few of the posts and campaigns I had a hand in producing, with my role for each outlined below.
Last fall, I joined the creative team at Hanna Andersson as a Digital Copywriter, and have since been promoted to Head Writer for all digital brand content. I create compelling campaigns, including all branded and promotional emails, site iterations, licensed takeovers, digital video shorts, and seasonal catalogs + mailers. I also review and edit all social media content to ensure our brand voice is consistent.
Here is a small sampling of the writing and content I've produced for Hanna.
Fluide - Launch + Brand Identity
In winter 2017, I was contacted by Fluide, a queer beauty start-up creating make-up for people of all gender expressions. They hired me to write and edit their brand identity statement and tenets in a way that felt as fresh and innovative as their product.
Warby Parker - Summer '17
I created a series of lifestyle and product images for Warby Parker's Summer 2017 Instagram campaign.
These are the images and copy I produced.
"Find your perfect pair for Pride. #lovewins"
"Wear summer well with Haskell in Crystal and Manzanita. 🎨 #coloroutsidethelines"
"Show your stripes with Caspar in Jet Black ☀️ #trueblue"
"What's in your summer stack? 📚 ☕️ #warbyreadinglist"
Warby Parker - Branded Content
As Brand Lead at Warby Parker, it was my responsibility to capture the essence of Portland life each week at the Warby Parker 'Do Good Arcade,' creating original content for the company Instagram. My posts regularly received 2,000–4,000 likes.
I was also responsible for organizing and executing events from conception at our store, like our hot cocoa Mad Libs bash 'Just Add Words,' our pup party 'Warby Barker,' and our annual birthday celebration. I documented these events and delivered images to our headquarters in New York.
Here are some of the highlights from my time at Warby Parker.
Adobe Project1324 - Cross-Platform Content
From August 2015 to August 2016, I worked at renowned agency Laundry Service for Adobe's Project1324 account. As social media coordinator, I produced some of the client’s highest performing features, with one series receiving over 5,000 likes, 470 shares, and 60 comments on Facebook alone.
I also engaged directly with users on a daily basis, answering inquiries, highlighting user-generated content, and growing the client's audience. I created an ongoing database of young creatives advocating for social change. Many of these artists were selected for their own content series, rising to the top of the account's most popular posts. My database is still utilized today.
Alix Gutierrez for Project1324
I flew to Los Angeles in the spring of 2016 to photograph and interview emerging illustrator Alix Gutierrez at home in her studio. My photographs for Adobe were featured on the Project1324 Instagram and Facebook, fostering important conversation on the challenges facing female artists in a cutthroat industry.

Beryl Allee for Project1324
Beryl Allee was one of the artists I knew directly and brought to Adobe. She was photographed by an in-house photographer, and my team and I wrote the copy for her feature. I interviewed Beryl about her work as a young animator and her film, 'Projection,' which explores the bias through which we view other people. Beryl's work was so on-target with our client's audience that her story became one of the top-performing features of all time.

More work for Adobe Project1324
As social media coordinator, my job was to create engaging content and to speak directly with users. One of my favorite ways to stimulate engagement was simple polls like the one above that really connected with our community of young artists.
I found Kara Haupt for Adobe Project1324 and interviewed her for her Creative Weekends content series. The photos to the right are a part of this feature as well.
This photograph and copy of mine remains one of the account's top ten posts of 2017.
In the last year of posting from @kodakfeelings, I've created nearly 500 unique posts with compelling copy, sharing my life and art. I received over 26,000 likes and 700 comments in 2016 alone. In the last six months, I've seen an average growth rate of 6.7 percent.
Here is some of the content I've created while sharing my personal triumphs, challenges, and memories.
As mentioned, I also recently started my photography business, Home + Maker. Since its launch in mid-July 2017, I've received over 3,600 likes and 150 comments on Instagram, and on average I receive about 40 new followers per week. Home + Maker also has a Facebook and Twitter, but I've been focusing most of my effort on Instagram and SEO marketing for my website. I've run a few short, targeted ads, but most of my follower growth and engagement have come from relevant hashtags chosen through careful research.
I curate and schedule my posts a month in advance, writing unique copy for each post to connect with my community.
